Here's our First Look at Rick Grimes himself! The more I see of this, the more excited I get. Having Robert Kirkman on board is a huge + for me.

I can't wait for this. It is gonna be so cool!

Sooooo stoked for this. I love that Frank(shawshank Redemption, Green Mile) Darabont is making this as well. The zombies already look great. And they are real zombies...slow moving...zombies. The way they are supposed to be :) I always hated the uber fast hybrid zombies ala 28 days later and the Dawn remake ( I like those films just not the way the zombies move). The threat of zombies is the numbers. If you let your guard down suddenly there is 40 of them where there was just a small group last you looked. Walking dead is one of the best comics I've ever read..bar none. It has all the emotion, politics, social sattire and horror of the truly good Romero films. And gore...Bloody good zombie gore. But the heart of a good zombie story is the human story. You really grow with the characters and care about them throughout the series. You really feel for Rick and his band of survivors. I really hope that translates to the show. That above all will make or break the series. sooooooo excited.

Full cast pic released. Casting looks very comic accurate now that I see them all together in costume. Still wish Timothy Olyphant was Rick, but hey I'm not complaining this is going to be great.

FX UK has picked up this series so I hope it's not on a silly time like Dexter which they show up to 1:00 am on a weekday.

Did anybody catch it tonight? Never been much on zombies but I really liked the first episode.Cant wait till next week.
