Green Lantern EK is based on a Three issue Mini Series in which Nekron/Krona was introduce as the bad guy. This is used only as a loose tie in for the film. Officially the film take place during the time of the First Flight movie. It starts off with Krona. Than it goes into the story mode. Hal talks of the First Green Lantern, We go to Kilowag, Laira, Mogo, Abin Sur, and than back to the plot at hand. The action is alright though it's far from the best animated movie it's also not the worse. Fans of Green Lantern well certainly enjoy it. Also don't spring for the twenty dollar deluxe one. The Two animated shorts are really just opening segments of Two of the Brave and the Bold cartoons.

Well if you like Green Lantern you won't mind it. It's really like the movie just a Cluster F*&K of the different writers being unable to agree on this time period. I really hate the colored lanterns after seeing the confusion it caused in this movie as they tried to take what was a three comic arc of Nekron/Krona and add in some of the Annuals Tales(IE. Abin's which is in issue #3) as well stories and a Arisia which comes off as pathetic. It's bad in reality including it's own time which is set during the time of the First Flight before Sinestro is Sinestro but after Hal is GL which means him himself is a rookie.

Yea, I saw the Kilowog figure today, great head and torso sculpt details but only leg and arm articulation, what about the elbows, the knees, the feet, the wrist and for that matter a proper articulated neck joint.

I know movie figures blew chunks, but damn mattel that was just an complete and utter failure with that figure.
