In a press conference today Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones announced a new contract for interim head coach Jason Garrett. "Jason is doing a fabulous job and I think the Cowboys will be headed in the right direction as long as he doesn't do anything I tell him."

To bolster the teams confidence, Jones has offered two first round draft picks to the Minnesota Vikings for Brett Favre and Miles Austin to the Tennesse Titans for Randy Moss. When asked for his reaction to the news, Jason Garrett promptly began updating his resume.

Wade Phillips, the recently fired head coach for the Cowboys said, "Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! F**k you JErry Jones! F**k you!"

Fan reactions were mixed. "I think Favre would do a good job," said one Texas resident.

When asked his opinion, one fan named Keith G****e, wearing a "Roger Staubach where are you?" tshirt and carrying a bag of toys, jumped in front of a bus that was passing by. There were Duke heads everywhere.

I ain't dead yet, but that's one helluva flesh wound I just received. I still don't think Garrett is the right man for the job but if he wins out... I am scared Jerry maybe dumb enough to give him a contract!!
