When I hear the term “Girl Next Door Type” used to describe a good looking woman, the very first thing that pops into my head is Lori Loughlin. It’s almost like someone coined the phrase specifically to honor her. I mean seriously look at her!






Lori started her career as a child actress in the early 70’s on television shows such as My Three Sons and The Smith Family and went on to become a print model by age 11. As she grew into a teenager she continued to appear in the early 80’s on shows like Matt Houston and The Edge of Night as well as a slew of t.v. commercials.






By the mid 1980’s Lori made the jump to movies and became an absolute fixture with roles in Amityville 3-D, The New Kids and the under-appreciated Secret Admirer. After a handful of films she would then make the jump back to t.v. with her recurring role as Becky on the ABC series Full House.






After Full House wrapped production Lori continued working throughout the 90’s predominately in made for t.v. movies and straight-to-video fare. Today the 46 yr. old Mother of 2 is still as gorgeous as ever and continues to act in films such as Old Dogs and on the current revamp of Beverly Hills 90210. Lori Loughlin will always be the Girl Next Door even though she is definitely a Babe of Yore.
