Erin Gray




This weeks entry is a real doozy for all you sci-fi fanboys out there. The immortal Erin Gray from Buck Rogers: in the 25th Century! As Col. Wilma Deering, she played wing-woman to Gil Gerard’s swashbuckling future hero in every episode of the classic t.v. series all the while never being relegated to eye candy. Wilma was always in the mix of each episode and was more of a female counterpart helping to usher in a new era of tough as nails sci-fi heroines.

After Buck Rogers ended in 1982 Erin hung up her purple spandex catsuit to play uber-hot stepmom Kate Summers Stratton in the long running sitcom Silver Spoons. In this role Erin portrayed the grounded and level headed foil to Rick Schroeder’s spoiled rich kid and she definitely played the character with equal parts toughness and elegance.





After Silver Spoons had run it’s course Erin stayed busy doing tons of guest star work on T.V. shows like L.A.Law, Baywaych and Renegade. She has also delivered quite a few roles in direct-to-video fare like Nuclear Hurricane, Hunter Prey and Timberwolf.

Today at 60 years old, Erin is still absolutely gorgeous and much of this can be attributed to her heavy involvement in the practice of ancient arts such as Qi Gong and Tai-Chi. She is also still on the performing radar with a handful of projects currently in post-production and is very active on the sci-fi convention circuit making several autograph appearances per year.





In my opinion there has never been a classier example of a model turned actress and Ms. Gray truly deserves a high-ranking spot in the Babes of Yore.

I have seen her at MegaCon in Fla a couple times and spoke to her once.I have to say for being an "Aged" woman she is beautiful!!!!! I remember watching Buck Rogers as a kid and liking me some Erin Gray!!!

Yeah, I remember this chick... and she STILL looks good.

I had a huge crush on Erin and loved that episode with the telekinetic midgets on Buck Rogers. I wished they were pyrokinetic so we could see more of erin than we did.

I miss Buck Rogers, lol. I remember having a crush on her as a youngin! Great selection into the Babes of Yore for sure!

oddly enough I went to Highschool with An "Erin Gray" unfortunately she was not as stunning.

ohh mine was nice lookin, but not model material. More girl next door.

what a babe,thank god for buck rogers on dvd.you forgot to mention she played jason voorhees's baby sister in jason goes to hell.good choice for a babes or yore.
