Ok...so I know that this has taken awhile, but life has happened and now I am ready to post "OUR" (mine & delta's) review of the movie:

I personally felt that it was slow in some spots but pretty funny. I didn't understand a lot of the inside jokes, but delta clued me in so I was all right (in regards to inquiring about and asking about being a "jedi" by Ewan Mac Gregor's character and the name of "django" to Jeff Bridges' character). If you have seen the Star Wars Prequels then you will have no problem following the jokes and will probably laugh like delta did.

I didn't completely understand the whole plot, and there are some things that still left me scratching my head, but if I watch it again maybe more will jump out at me and I will understand more. Maybe I should read the book then watch it again... LOL

I personally give it 3 stars (out of 5)

Delta gives it 4 stars (out of 5) due to the lull of plot line in some spots.

Both of us think that it is worth going to see...

I saw this not long ago and it was completely "meh". I didn't really like it but I didn't hate it either. It felt like it was trying desperately to be a Coen Brothers movie and almost had that vibe but the comedy was stale and the plot was non-existent. I don't think I'll ever feel the need to see it a second time and for me that's the mark of a stinker.

Had some really funny parts, but I agree with the rest of you, it was a fairly forgetable film. Too bad, as it really could have been great with the cast.

The whole Jedi warrior thing still makes me laugh though.

It was based on a true story I watched some of the features on the dvd (hired not bought) which were pretty boring like the film. The film should have been better than it was Burn After Reading was quite funny I thought.

I saw this last weekend and I liked it better than Burn After Reading which I thought was pretty great as well. I thought the whole Jedi thing was pretty hilarious.
